No matter what skills you have, it’s important to practice them so you can perform at the highest level possible. I love Photoshop, and enjoy creating images in the program. However, this is not a skill I get to use often. I read a number of design and tutorial blogs, and whenever I think of something fun to create or see a tutorial that could teach me new tricks, I spend a little time and create the image to see if I can do it.

Yesterday one of these blogs, the Vandelay Design Blog posted 35 High-Quality and Free Concrete Textures. The first texture grabbed my attention. I thought about the image for a minute, and decided that I wanted to “fry” a few eggs on the sidewalk. So that is what I did. Here is my finished product!
